Don't Let Anyone
Look Down on You Because You're Young
>>> Be An Example <<<
1 Timothy 4:12

What does
it mean to be 4:12?

The Bible says that being young doesn't mean that you don’t have something to say or to contribute.
Being 4:12 is a desire to be an example to others in:
Word - Our words matter to God and we can be an example of Jesus, to others, by the words that we use.
Conduct - The way we live and all of our actions matter.  We show people that look down on us because we are young that our life belongs to Jesus in every way.  By doing that, our conduct gives them no reason to say our actions don't match our words.
Love - Love is at the center of all that God has done for us.  We love others because Christ first loved us.
Spirit - When we ask God to fill us with the Spirit we will be like a glass that is filled with water and overflows….the things of God will pour out of us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Faith - Faith means to believe in something.  We believe in God.  Our faith is in God, not in people, or circumstances.
Purity - Purity means to have moral character.  God tells us in His Word to “be holy as I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16).  We keep our hearts and our minds free from those things that draw us away from living for God.
